Simply ordered a Fish and Chips combo,
Service was great, interesting content to look at while waiting (many great reminders of good things in the past from the local region), most importantly though, the food was quality. My daughter and I enjoyed the meal - a great way to end our day out in the region,
Thank you Glory Days.
Having to do a few laps before finding a s car park nearby, was certainly worth the effort.

Wow ! What a burger … forget the American burgers !
Take a moment to remember the days of beetroot and pineapple on a burger classic patty egg and bacon… BBQ sauce and a great chat with Sam … big smiles full tummy’s and milkshakes to over do it .

Designed in a playful nostalgic nod to days past, tastefully decorated with vintage photos of the Illawarra region and a nod to the Old Oxford Tavern and Australiana. Glory days offer up the old school take away food you remember, how you remember them. Beef burger with the lot so packed the beetroot falls out of the bun. I have also been back a second time and had the Hawaiian schnitzel burger which had such a delicious and crunchy crust on the schnitzel it self.
My wife had the Aussie burger the first time and the Portuguese burger the second. Again both fantastic.
The chips are thick and come standard with chicken salt.
Also my wife had a strawberry milkshake which again was delightful, one of the best I've had.
Staff at the front counter were super bubbly and have that hospitality you want to come back too, especially the lovely blonde woman who is an absolute delight and calls everyone darling and sweetheart and is human sunshine.
Both times we've been so far there we have not spent more than $40 and had amazing food and been full.
In this cost of living crisis that's great value for money.
With the closing of Chickos Wollongong, which was a great loss, Glory Days may be poised to fill the void it left.

Great spot! Was following a guy called Saint Mondegreen for the new world order (he has security clearance you know) then stopped in for a burger after my hard work.
Great stuff, will be coming back to install secret government facility in the back so I can enjoy their burgers more often!

Yummmmmm. Had burgers with the lot and salty hot chippies and was so good. The atmosphere is obviously awesome and so happy to see more of these places opening in Wollongong. As soon as you walk in you smile and the food backed up the vibes. Friendly staff too which is the cherry on top.

Whilst not the cheapest, you don't mind paying when you receive quality food, and damn, absolutely amazing burgers and chips. Burgers as they should be; plenty of bacon, delicious beef patty; quality that's so rare nowadays. Will definitely be returning soon.

Perfectly fresh food with that city street vibe and warm nostalgic feeling, fantastic customer service always!
If you want the old fish and chip shop feed with the feels of yesteryear but with uprated quality then glory days is your spot!
Side hint, try the pineapple fritter with cinnamon sugar, because geeezzz, that is next level

What a little Gem. Set up like an old school chippy. Took me back to the good old days. Colour scheme of late 70s early 80s. Nostalgic pictures and art align the walls. The original old Oxford Tavern sign hangs feature on one of the walls. (Wonder how you got your hands on that.) Ordered a burger with the lot and combo of 2 potato scallops and a pasito. Started with the scallops, cooked well, large with thickly cut potato inside was a real potato scallop experience. Burger with lot held together and was put together well roll didn't crumble and everything was cooked to perfection. Not a fast food stall just real good food. Good selection of chippy foods. Staff were welcoming and helpful.
